Crafty Monkey's is back from our Christmas break and hope you all had a fun Christmas and and received lots of goodies from Santa.
This weeks challenge we are asking you to create a card or paper project with the theme:
Something New
Don't worry if you don't have something new as you could always raid your Mum's stash - Sorry Mum's! Remember if you do not have the appropriate stamp we love seeing your hand drawn work.
We have a great prize this challenge which has been kindly donated by Karin. Karin is the Mum of our two regular players Ruby and Britt. Thank you so much and i'm sure one lucky player is going to love this cute stamp set.. I know we do!
On my card today I have used my Mum's new square Nestabilites and also my new "Handmade by Zoe" stamp which was a gift from my friends Karin, Ruby and Britt. Thank you so much and I love it!
I also raided my Mum's stamps and used the cute dragon Albert, Dragon Prints and "Hugs and Hugs" Sentiment. I added some stickles to give him some sparkle and some gems for his flowers. I love using my Mum's Wizard to cut the nestabilities. My Mum did help me put the card together.
I have also made my card this week to join in with the High Hopes Challenge - Torn Edges. My card will be going to California as a surprise for my Mum's friend Tina's Grandfather. Tina is the very kind and generous owner of High Hopes Rubber Stamps and if you too would like to send her Grandfather a birthday card to make his day extra special can find details on my Mum's blog here.

Oh, your card is just gorgeous Zoe!! It's so bright and cheerful and your colouring is wonderful. I think you must have your Mum's talent!!
Another fantastic creation from the hands of Zoe! I really love this one, Zoe! I love the colors you chose and they are applied with an expert hand and an artist's eye. I love the torn edges of the sentiment panel and love that it is on a light brown cardstock with a white core. That was clever, because it shows the white edges when you tear it. I love the scallops, that is so cute and gives your card that something extra. And I also love how you stamped on the envelope too and chose a matching color. What a great card. I'm sure Tina's Grandpa will treasure it!
